SOUTH DAYTONA, FLORIDA - October 9, 2012 - In observance of World Arthritis Day, Premier Care in Bathing, the largest supplier of Walk-In Baths and Easy Access Showers, announced today it will continue its efforts to help in the fight against arthritis through a company-wide campaign in support of World Arthritis Day and its “Move to Improve” theme.
October 12th is World Arthritis Day, and Premier Care in Bathing’s staff will transform into a “Blue Crew” dressing head to toe in blue, even sporting blue hair do’s and footwear. The event will serve as the finale for a fundraiser raffle held through the month of October in which one team member will receive two tickets to a performance of the Blue Man Group. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the Arthritis Foundation in the United States and the Arthritis Society in Canada.
Taking last year’s event to new heights, Premier Care will incorporate participation in the European League Against Rheumatism’s (EULAR) campaign to “Move to Improve,” in which people worldwide are waving to show their support and contribute to the overall goal to create a photomontage of 100,000 individuals. EULAR is asking everyone to take photographs or videos waving their hands or waving flags to call attention to this important cause. Each corporate office location will have a photograph which will be uploaded on the World Arthritis Day website, and then become a pixel in a larger picture to be shown around the world.
